Peace Haven patients in Winston-Salem are achieving the smile they’ve always desired with Invisalign clear braces. The confidence of a great smile can be life changing. So isn’t it time you get that perfect smile too?
Why Choose Invisalign Clear Braces?
Choosing to straighten your teeth can be a big decision—and an important one. Many people worry about what they’ll look like with traditional metal braces. And some people are concerned with the discomfort they may experience with bulky metal braces, sharp wires, and uncomfortable tightening. Others may not want to be subject to food restrictions for an extended period of time.
At Peace Haven Family Dentistry, we offer Invisalign clear braces in Winston-Salem, NC, as an alternative to traditional metal braces. And we make it easy to incorporate this modern teeth straightening treatment into your budget and lifestyle.
Our patients choose Invisalign clear braces for many reasons:
- A better smile
- Social acceptance
- Business success
- Special occasions
- Wedding day
- Increased function
- Better cleaning
- Periodontal disease
- Premature or excessive chipping and wear
How long will my Invisalign treatment take?
Treatment duration can vary depending on the position of your teeth and your age. However, adults can generally expect their treatment to take about one year or less.
How does Invisalign work?
Once we decide together that Invisalign clear braces is the right treatment for you, we’ll take x-rays, pictures, and digital impressions of your teeth. Then we’ll create a digital 3-D image of your teeth. This image will help us create a comprehensive treatment plan for you.
Once we establish your treatment plan, Invisalign creates custom clear aligners made with smooth, comfortable plastic that gradually and gently shifts your teeth into place. You’ll need to wear your clear braces throughout the day, and remove them when you eat, brush or floss.
You’ll receive a new clear aligner every two weeks. Each new aligner will help advance you to the next level of treatment. You can also expect to schedule periodic visits to check on your progress. For the best results and to maintain your treatment timetable, we recommend that you wear your aligners for at least 22 hours every day.
Before you know it, you’ll be sporting a new smile for all to see!
Will my Invisalign results be permanent?
Retainers are recommended once treatment is completed to stabilize the teeth and prevent future tooth movement. If the retainer is not worn as instructed, a relapse—or shifting of teeth—can occur. Your teeth may have a tendency to move back to their original position. Wearing retainers as instructed allows you to keep your teeth in their new position, protecting your smile and your investment.
